Bio: retired from work as a GP in the NHS, I have painted,drawn, made collages and textiles for over 20 Yrs. I have a love of colour and of patchwork and produce both figurative and abstract work. I am based in the North of England surrounded by the remnants of the 19th century factory prosperity in which my relatives lived. My father was Garth Dawson and one of my blogs contains thousands of his photos. of Accrington and the surrounding areas covering the years 1950s to 1990s when he was a well known photographer in the area. His pictures include many taken whilst working for the Accrington Observer.
