A textured ground

This evolved into mountains from use of paper and impasto

Adding sand and ashes:  Introduced at the recommendation of the tutor in the last module and then criticised for its use!

Using plastic bags in my images, it produces a glossy image in which paint does not adhere to all pieces of the plastic and so produces interesting textures:
